Kelso Bowling Club

Kelso Bowling Club was established in 1838, which makes it one of the oldest Bowling clubs in Scotland. It is situated on the corner of Bowmont Street and Poynder Place, near the High School, the tennis courts and the rugby ground.

The Club which currently has 180 bowling members and 60 social members, is open from mid April until the end of September. The well appointed Club premises are open each day and evening during this period.

Kelso Bowling Club competes in both the Border Bowling A and B Leagues and also the Ladies League. In addition the Club also enters all the Border and Scottish competitions. There are also numerous friendly matches each season with other Clubs.

Each May the Club organises a weekend Tour for members to different parts of the country.

Club subscriptions are £41.00 (concessions - £35). Visitors are welcome (Fees - £1 per day). New members will be made most welcome.
