Be it known that I, William Patterson, am the Town Crier of St James Fair, Kelso.
All People, noble or humble. attending the Fair will behave in a proper manner. Any person bringing the Fair into disrepute will be flogged and receive a day in the stocks.
Now all ye People go forth and enjoy the fair.
