Kelso Library Readers Group Meeting - 25th November 2008

We held our usual monthly meeting on Tuesday, 25th November, attended by eight people. As usual we discussed the books we had read and some members brought along poetry to read, which they had forgotten at the last meeting! All very enjoyable. Kelso Library Readers Group October meeting

Our meeting on Tuesday of this week was on favourite poems. Six people out of eleven had selected poems to read...the other five had either forgotten or had not been aware of the meeting's topic. After a break of two months we had our first meeting of the Kelso Readers Group, held as usual in the Library on the last Tuesday in September (30th). Kelso Library Readers Group meeting 25th March 2008

On the last Tuesday of this month (March) we had ten members who came along, plus a variety of reading material. The books we had hoped to get from the Library were unavailable but Ruth says she will keep trying. After the Christmas break we had our first meeting on Tuesday, January 29. We had decided to start off the year with a lunch at Kwan's Chinese restaurant in Kelso and they did us proud.
